Alice’s paintings of landscapes, cityscapes, and objects are an explosion of light and color and, in her paintings of people, she attempts to capture them in their unique environment.

Alice says:
To me, the challenge of the two dimensional canvas is to create a fourth dimension, that of movement. To accomplish this, I take advantage of the plasticity of oil paint, bold brush strokes, and strong color. The vivid areas of color and form fighting with each other to hold the picture plane create tension and, thus, movement.
